I definitely don’t use the Eisenhower matrix. I like how there’s three different options for nesting tasks.īasically it can feel a bit overwhelming to have so many functions to work with, but once you spend the time to learn how you want to best use TickTick, it’s worth it. I use duration instead of date quite frequently for projects that takes days. I love being able to add notes instead of tasks. It took some effort in the beginning to set it up the way I want, but now it takes minimal effort to maintain. I left ToDoist for good a couple months ago and committed fully to TickTick. Every time I left TickTick it was because it had a lot of functions I didn’t need and it didn’t have as much natural language as ToDoist. I had tired TickTick a few times before switching back to Todoist. I stuck with Todoist for a while but I’ve always wanted a built in calendar view. You might not be bothered by this, but I thought I'd raise it. It's bothersome to me because it's a task I cannot complete on my list, until it's the due date. So if you have a couple tasks like "submit weekly report" and "do Friday clean up" that are due weekly on Friday and mark them complete, you'll immediately see the next week's tasks show up on the list. They will be scheduled for the due date, but you'll always see the next upcoming task. Reoccurring tasks cannot be hidden from your list ahead of time. You could add a separate dated subtask to the item which you could schedule for Today.

The most important reason people chose TickTick is: On each task you can choose between a text description or a checklist. In the question What are the best cross-platform task apps TickTick is ranked 5th while Any.do is ranked 14th. A fellow redditor suggested creating a specific task with a #Deadline tag to keep track of it. So Im in the same boat, but have always learned more towards Todoist for the following reasons: - Task syntax makes more sense to me in Todoist. When comparing TickTick vs Any.do, the Slant community recommends TickTick for most people. So you can't put something on your Today list and retain the last date you can complete it. You can sync your data to standard calendar apps, such as Apples Calendar or Google Calendar. There is no way to indicate between a "due" date and a "do" date. I try to avoid too many complexities because it overcomplicates it for me. If it doesn't make it, I'll adjust it to the next day I think I can do it. When I get a chance, I schedule the task to the proper list with a day I'll do it. I just write what I have time for - what matters is the task itself is written down, not the details. I use an Inbox to capture a task as soon as it comes to mind. They give you plenty of tools to do so, but you need to consciously consider how. Ultimately, all of the Todo apps are a platform for you to implement your productivity system. However I feel TickTick works the best for me overall. The premium version of Todois, on the other hand, costs 28. Regarding your question I can not help but there are plenty of yt tutorials which maybe can.I've found every app has something that doesn't work the way I want, including TickTick. The premium version of TickTick costs 2.79 per month or 27.99 if you prefer a yearly-based subscription.

Both ways sync after re-schedule is working I think but it is for me not important since I like to do this on my big screen on PC before I sleep.

When I install the app on the watch I can go through the whole database of reminders, tasks, add new and so on but then I can not have dismiss both ways working so I kicked the app from the watch.

Maybe on other Wear OS 2/3 watches it is running fine but on GW4 with latest update it is not. This happened after Samsung pushed a watch OS-update but todoist developers are not fixing the wear-app to this new OS version. It stays on watch or phone depending where I do the dismiss action. When I dismiss reminders on watch or phone they do not sync both ways. In the beginning the watch and phone-app worked like it should but the last 4 months I have issues (reported to customer support).

I am a todoist user for last 6 years and also bought a android wear smartwatch (GW4) for additional experience.
